CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. As a member in a CSA, you become a member of the farm for the growing season!
When you purchase a “share”, a portion of the produce from the garden, belongs to you!
This is different than shopping at your local grocery store because:
- You will receive fresh produce.
- Purchasing from your local farmer means that you cut out the supply chain and support your local community.
- You will learn how to eat seasonally (what is in the box will change based on the season)
- You will know how your food is grown, the comfort of knowing that it has not been chemically treated.
- You will know your farmer personally.
