What is a CSA?

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. As a member in a CSA, you become a member of the farm for the growing season!

When you purchase a “share”, a portion of the produce from the garden, belongs to you!

This is different than shopping at your local grocery store because:

  1. You will receive fresh produce.
  2. Purchasing from your local farmer means that you cut out the supply chain and support your local community.
  3. You will learn how to eat seasonally (what is in the box will change based on the season)
  4. You will know how your food is grown, the comfort of knowing that it has not been chemically treated.
  5. You will know your farmer personally.
