Sourdough 101 Class at Scherer Homestead Norman, OK

Learn the basics of keeping your new Sourdough Starter friend alive and baking! It's a fun hobby, beneficial for your health because of the natural yeast in sourdough and delicious.

Classes will be held at Scherer Homestead. You will leave with a loaf of your own freshly baked bread and a new sourdough friend! We go through the entire process of feeding, storing, making dough, rising, shaping and baking! When you leave you’ll have recipes, a guide and confidence to bake your own chemical free bread! Class is 3 hours in length and light refreshments, music and camaraderie provided! 

This class is taught in our spacious homestead kitchen near Lake Thunderbird and the address is emailed out upon order confirmation.
